White Chocolate Frosting Recipe. Slowly pour in the white chocolate ganache with the mixer still on low. Pour heavy whipping cream to chilled mixing bowl and whip on high until medium peaks have formed.
In a large bowl, using a handheld electric mixer, beat butter at medium speed until creamy. In a standing mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, slowly mix the room temperature butter and vanilla together while slowly adding the powdered sugar. White chocolate bars are recommended for this recipe.
Add sugar and beat until very pale.
Add powdered sugar and mix on low until incorporated.
White chocolate chips won't melt as well and can affect the consistency of the frosting. With mixer running, slowly beat in melted white chocolate. Add melted chocolate; beat until well blended.
